Limiting Government

Arizona, over the years, has seen state, county, and local government grow dramatically. Arizonans In Action believes that government should be small and efficient allowing for free market solutions to make government and services more effective.

Promoting Governmental Transparency and Accountability

Arizonans In Action believes government has the obligation to the taxpayers to efficiently and effectively use our tax dollars to provide basic services. We also believe it is the responsibility of government to be sure that the taxpayers know exactly where our tax dollars are spent at all times.

Protecting Private Property Rights

In 2005, the Kelo decision made it permissible for government bureaucrats can condemn your home and give it to a developer. Evidence of its extended effects became national news where Randy Bailey of Mesa had his property taken away from him by the city only to give it to another business. Randy took his case to court and won yet Arizonans were very much concerned about more attempts by government to take away the homes, businesses, and churches at will.

In 2006, Arizona voters passed Proposition 207, the Private Property Protection act that protects homeowners, businesses, and churches against eminent domain abuse and regulatory takings. Yet, Arizonans are still not protected from hostile attempts to take away their right to their property.

Arizonans In Action supports the rights of Arizona homeowners, businesses, and churches to own property and protected from intrusive attempts by government to take their land and homes. We will work tirelessly to be sure that Proposition 207 will remain in effect and that the will of the voters will not be undermined.

Advocating for True Education Reform

Arizonans In Action believes that parents are best equipped to understand the needs of their child when it comes to education. Therefore, parents have the right and responsibility to choose the best educational options for their children to succeed. We support free market alternatives to public schools that are not producing proven results. We believe that this will lead to true education reform and greater overall improvement in education.
